Biography: Prof. Dr Apinan Poshyananda has an
MA in Fine Arts from Edinburgh
University and a PhD in History of Art
from Cornell University, New fork. He is
the Director-General of the Office of
Contemporary Art and Culture in
Thailand's Ministry of Culture.


He has published work and curated
exhibitions on Asian art in Asia, Europe,
Australia, South and North America. He
was named Outstanding National
Researcher by The National Research
Council of Thailand. For his contribution
to International cultural exchange the
rank of Knight, First Class, Royal Order
of the Polar Star was bestowed on him
by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
