My work examines the complex
relationship that exists between painting
and sculpture, playing with both the
illusionist qualities of painting and the
inextricably physical and therefore 'real'
qualities of sculpture. Both 'Whale'
and 'Triangle' evoke a mood of
understated theatricality, functioning as
