Artist's Statement:
Softening the edges of a homemade darkly comic world, using low budget materials with an obsessive hobbyist approach, the work opposes the grandiose and acts in defiance of technology. In an age constantly looking to its recent past for retro cool, through 'Gary' I have explored the more uncomfortable areas of retrospection.
