In a sense, Tom Walker conflates video with snapshot – also, maybe, parenting with football. Everything depends on an image and an instant: CATCH THE BABY! I'd say, David Letterman, 'eat your heart out', but then, how many UK New Contemporaries watch Late Night with David Letterman?
Artist's Statement:
I make short films with my son as the central character in a variety of dangerous or daredevil scenarios. These films play on the relationship between violence and humour.
