Description:
However authorative their form, a diagrammatic account of knowledge will always be partial. In mapping out particular sites, monuments, buildings, Cleo Broda assembles content with a rigorous non-surveying technique. Researching a subject consists of talking to people and stumbling over information which may or may not be useful. The maps are full of opinions, intimate moments, gossip and unsubstantiated history.
