Description:
The prostitutes in a series of photographs from the beginning of the century have been removed from the picture. By digitally manipulating the archive subject Tim Meara opens up space which still, nonetheless, remains poignant. The work encourages an inevitable projection backwards in time onto early photography with its particular relation to documentation and art.
