Description:
‘The redundance of public signs. He picks up certain infrastructural issues of our society, as, for instance , this yellow colour on the plaques, and also the badges. Everyone carries badges to give himself an identity and you find again, the image of his face. This redundance is turned around again. Again, I think there is an awareness of what he is doing, also in theoretical terms. That's what I like about the work, it's almost not there, it's very modest and it's like a little thing someplace, somewhere. It reduces the massivity that's around you. Also, in a humorous way, it's something very typical. It puts attention to something apparently dull and frequently existing in our daily life. It's anonymous.’
