Description:
‘The melange of critical writings and theories over the past thirty years have had their toll on 'Documentary Photography', forcing it to retreat and reconsider its options. The Royal Hallamshire photographs represent a new emergence, freed from the restraints of past practices. The images follow both pictorial and documentary tradition alike. 'Photographic Truth' floats freely between imagination and reality. The viewer can choose.’
