The installation comprises a group of hand-made painted cardboard drums and a drum kit. Artist’s Statement: ’ (…) (The Drums) were all produced at the same time as a series and have been shown as a group installation. Each piece informed and had influence on the development of the others. However they have also been shown individually and the pieces with less obvious reference to the drum became far more ambiguous when standing alone.’
