Style Period:contemporary art
Subject:objects, household objects, low-tech
Technique:video projection
Description:
‘Seen in silhouette, everyday articles placed on an overhead projector are seen in outline on a curtain pelmet. The video is grainy, low resolution, low fi, low tech and homespun. Detritus and odd bits and bobs, ring pulls from a four pack, a feather and a typewriter cartridge makes me wonder what type of house this is. Objects seen as silhouettes are turned by hand, giving a three dimensional sense of them.’
